LONDON, February 24 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Merck Finck & Co maintain their "buy" rating on Siemens (SIE).

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company?s Siemens Medical segment is likely to gain exposure to the diverse diagnostics and contrast media markets in the near future. Siemens Medical intends to gain market share in the near term, despite intense competition from General Electric. Siemens? Power Generation segment expects to maintain its focus on North America and Denmark over the next couple of years, rather than expanding into the Chinese market.
