Siemens "outperform"

LONDON, February 27 (newratings.com) - Analysts at HVB maintain their "outperform" rating on Siemens AG (SIE-EUR). The target price is set to ?83.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that despite the weak environment in the oil and gas market, the company has expressed its optimism regarding its I&S segment attaining its 2007 profit targets. Siemens? has also expressed its confidence in all its business segments achieving their respective individual EBIT margin targets.
