Siemens "overweight"

LONDON, February 28 (newratings.com) - Analyst Andreas Willi of JP Morgan reiterates his "overweight" rating on Siemens (SIE-EUR). The target price is set to ?76.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the company expects several of its divisions to benefit going forward from the "mega trends" in urbanization, environment and population growth/aging. Siemens' healthy order trends during Q1 are likely to have continued into Q2, the analyst says. JP Morgan believes that the company would execute more radical structural changes, which include exiting from its SBS, LA and COM businesses.
