LONDON, June 30 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein maintain their "buy" rating on Siemens (SIE-EUR). The target price is set to ?82.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company has acquired Bayer's Diagnostics unit for ?4.2 billion, soon after its acquisition of Diagnostics Products. Siemens has become the second-largest company in immunodiagnostics following the acquisition, the analysts say. The two deals combined are expected to boost the company?s sales by approximately 24%, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein adds.
