Carnival "hold"

LONDON, December 14 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Dresdner Kleinwort maintain their "hold" rating on Carnival Plc (CCL-GBX). The target price is set to $53.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company is expected to post its 4Q FD EPS at 46c when it reports its results on December 21. The analysts expect Carnival to announce its guidance for 2007 at the lower-end of the consensus range. Prices of Caribbean 7 day sailings for 2007 are expected to have been reduced by 5% in November, the analysts say. Dresdner Kleinwort expects the company to generate flat net yields for 2007, as compared to consensus forecast of 1.5%.
