DaimlerChrysler "accumulate"

LONDON, May 17 (newratings.com) - Analyst Christian Nagstrup of Jyske Bank maintains his "accumulate" rating on DaimlerChrysler (DAIC-EUR). The 12-month target price is set to ?50.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that although the company has posted impressive sales results for Q1, the earnings results were disappointing. The performance of DaimlerChrysler's Mercedes division is expected to improve significantly during the forthcoming quarters, the analyst says. The company has issued a satisfactory guidance for 2006, Jyske Bank adds.
