LONDON, October 5 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Dresdner Kleinwort maintain their "hold" rating on DaimlerChrysler (DCX). The target price is set to ?37.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that EADS, in which DaimlerChrysler has a 33% stake, has significantly reduced its earnings outlook till 2010 due to additional delays in the Airbus A380. DaimlerChrysler's earnings in the forthcoming years are likely to be adversely affected by lower contribution from EADS, the analysts say. EADS? efficiency programme is unlikely to generate results until 2007, Dresdner Kleinwort adds.
