Deutsche Telekom "outperform"

LONDON, March 1 (newratings.com) - Analyst Thomas Friedrich of HVB maintains his "outperform" rating on Deutsche Telekom AG (DTEL-EUR). The target price is set to ?16.

In a research note published yesterday, the analyst mentions that the company?s T-Mobile subsidiary has recently indicated that its new T-Mobile@home product has witnessed approximately 50,000 subscriptions in the first two weeks of its launch this January. T-Mobile expects its growth in 2006 to be driven by increased usage of its data and value-added services, the analyst adds.
