Deutsche Telekom "hold"

LONDON, March 3 (newratings.com) - Analyst Damien Chew of ING Financial Markets maintains his "hold" rating on Deutsche Telekom (DTEGn.F). The 12-month target price is set to ?14.80.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the company has reported its 4Q05 results ahead of the estimates and broadly in-line with the consensus. Deutsche Telekom has hiked its dividend by 16%, as compared to the market expectations of a dividend cut. There is limited visibility into the effective implementation of the company?s growth strategy, the analyst adds.
