LONDON, October 3 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Dresdner Kleinwort maintain their "buy" rating on Novartis (NOT). The target price is set to CHF80.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that revisions in the Medicare Part D programme for 2007 are expected to have a major impact on Pharmaceutical companies. The analysts expect Medicare Part D?s enrolment levels to continue to rise and the use of prescription drugs to increase in the US going forward. Novartis? volumes are likely to improve in 2007, Dresdner Kleinwort adds.
