Novartis "buy"

LONDON, November 28 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Dresdner Kleinwort maintain their "buy" rating on Novartis (NOT). The target price is set to CHF85.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the update on the company?s R&D pipeline appears favourable. Many of Novartis? drugs have been filed early or have entered into the pivotal Phase III, the analysts say. The company has joined the likes of GSK and SASY in a market that is potentially worth billions of dollars, by submitting its dossier for bird-flu in Europe, Dresdner Kleinwort adds.
