Novartis "buy"

LONDON, April 2 (newratings.com) - Analyst Benjamin Yeoh of Dresdner Kleinwort maintains his "buy" rating on Novartis AG (NOT). The target price is set to CHF75.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that Novartis has suspended the sales of Zelnorm. Novartis? sales are expected to grow by more than 5% in 2007, as compared to the previous expectation of 10%, the analyst says. While there is uncertainty regarding Novartis? prospects in the short term, the company has long-term potential, Dresdner Kleinwort adds.
