LONDON, July 5 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Dresdner Kleinwort maintain their "buy" rating on Novartis (NOT). The target price is set to CHF78.

In a research note published yesterday, the analysts mention that the company?s 2Q results may deviate from expectations on account of the recent divestments. Novartis may reduce its guidance due to the launch of the Lotrel generic, the analysts say. The approval of Tasigna may occur before July 17, which would be a positive for sentiment, Dresdner Kleinwort adds.
