UnitedHealth ?neutral,? target price raised

NEW YORK, July 23 (newratings.com) ? Analyst G Nersessian of Credit Suisse reiterates his "neutral" rating on UnitedHealth Group Inc (UNH), while raising his estimates for the company. The target price has been raised from $28 to $29.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the company has posted its 2Q EPS ahead of the estimates and the recently reduced guidance. UnitedHealth?s risk-based commercial enrolment fell by 95,000 lives q/q and by 520,000 y/y in the quarter. The EPS estimates for 2008 and 2009 have been raised to $3.02 and $3.25, respectively.
