Cisco Systems "overweight"

NEW YORK, March 28 (newratings.com) - Analyst Jiong Shao of Lehman Brothers reiterates his "overweight" rating on Cisco Systems (CSCO).

In a research note published yesterday, the analyst mentions that the company is well positioned to benefit from IPTV expansion going forward. According to the analyst, the expansion of IP backbones related to the IPTV segment is likely to boost Cisco Systems revenue growth in either late-2006 or 2007.
