Cisco Systems "outperform," target price raised

NEW YORK, May 11 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Robert W Baird maintain their "outperform" rating on Cisco Systems Inc (CSCO), while raising their estimates for the company. The target price has been raised from $23 to $25.

In a research note published yesterday, the analysts mention that the company has reported its F3Q EPS and revenues marginally ahead of the estimates. Cisco Systems is poised to benefit from the global next-generation communication trends in the enterprise, commercial, residential and service provider markets, the analysts believe. The EPS estimate for 2006 has been raised from $1.04 to $1.08.
