NEW YORK, May 8 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Lazard Capital maintain their "hold" rating on Target Corp (TGT).

In a research note published on May 5, the analysts mention that the company has reported its April comps in-line with the estimates and ahead of the consensus. Target?s performance during the quarter was boosted by favourable traffic trends as well as the performance of the kids, toys, entertainment and consumables segments, the analysts say. The company has guided to its May comps at 4%-6%.
