NEW YORK, December 28 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Credit Suisse maintain their "outperform" rating on Target Corp (TGT). The target price is set to $64.

In a research note published yesterday, the analysts mention that the company has indicated that its 4Q earnings may be short of expectations. Even the expectation of a marginal y/y decline in Target?s 4Q07 EPS appears too aggressive, the analysts say. Pershing Square has raised its stake in Target to more than 10%, Credit Suisse adds.
