Intel "above average"

NEW YORK, September 19 (newratings.com) - Analyst Daniel Berenbaum of Caris & Company maintains his "above average" rating on Intel Corporation (INTC).

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that a recent survey indicates that although the demand for the company?s PCs is unlikely to exceed the estimates in 3Q, it is expected to continue to be robust for the rest of the year. Despite the launch of AMD?s Barcelona product, Intel is likely to recover its lost market share in the near term, the analyst says.
