LONDON, August 28 (newratings.com) - Analyst Thomas Aney of Dresdner Kleinwort maintains his "buy" rating on DaimlerChrysler (DAI-EUR). The target price is set to ?69.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the company is likely to have spent ?6 billion on share repurchases and dividends in 2Q. Daimler is expected to target net liquidity of ?5 billion, excluding Chrysler, the analyst says. Dresdner Kleinwort expects the company to raise its annual dividend to ?2 per share this year, from to the ?1.50 per share paid for 2006.
