NEW YORK, April 26 (newratings.com) - Analyst Stephen A O?Neil of Hilliard Lyons maintains his "buy" rating on 3M Company (MMM). The 12-month target price is set to $95.

In a research note published yesterday, the analyst mentions that the company has reported better-than-expected 1Q results on account of broad-based revenue growth, which was marginally ahead of expectations. 3M has posted its EPS for the quarter ahead of expectations, the analyst says. The company is currently considering strategic alternatives for its low-performance branded pharmaceuticals business.
