3M "buy," target price reduced

NEW YORK, July 11 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Deutsche Bank Securities maintain their "buy" rating on 3M Company (MMM). The target price has been reduced from $100 to $98.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that there are no signs of a rise in competition for the company?s optical films segment. There are no visible trends indicating a closure of the technology gap maintained by 3M?s optical films segment, Deutsche Bank Securities adds.
