LONDON, April 5 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Ibersecurities maintain their "sell" rating on EADS (EAD). The target price is set to ?23.6.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that DaimlerChrysler and Lagardere have announced a simultaneous reduction in their stakes in EADS by 7.5%. DaimlerChrysler is to sell its stake to a group of international investment banks, while Lagardere is to sell its stake to a group of institutional investors in France, the analysts say. EADS views the transaction as a positive development, since it would raise the free float of its stock.
