EADS "buy"

LONDON, May 11 (newratings.com) - Analyst Allan Smylie of Dresdner Kleinwort maintains his "buy" rating on EADS (EAD). The target price is set to ?30.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the company has reported robust 1Q results, including exceptionals, marginally ahead of expectations. More importantly, a/c orders for Airbus continued to accelerate over the 2005 and 2006 levels, the analyst says.
