EADS "overweight," target price raised

LONDON, October 12 (newratings.com) - Analysts at JP Morgan reiterate their "overweight" rating on EADS (EAD-EUR). The target price has been raised from ?26 to ?28.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the first commercial flight of A380 may be followed by announcements of new customers for the aircraft over the forthcoming months. Airbus is likely to be planning a PR initiative by the end of this year and may announce orders for 50 A350s during the Dubai Air Show, scheduled to begin on November 11, the analysts say. The delay in the Boeing 787 delivery could shift in favour of Airbus, JP Morgan adds.
