EADS "overweight"

LONDON, January 8 (newratings.com) - Analyst Harry W Breach of JP Morgan maintains his "overweight" rating on EADS (EAD).

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the 7.5% decline in the company?s share price appears unwarranted. EADS? Power8 plan is progressing ahead of schedule, the analyst says. The company is planning a $1 billion extension to the Power8 plan in order to deal with a $1.50 spot rate, which seems achievable and might rekindle investor interest, JP Morgan adds.
