Amazon downgraded to "sell"

NEW YORK, July 27 (newratings.com) - Analysts at BWS Financial downgrade Amazon.com Inc (AMZN) from "hold" to "sell." The 12-month target price is set to $65.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company is expected to face a tough time in the near future, in the wake of its disappointing operating margin trends. Amazon s likely to face additional pressure in high volume quarters going forward due to the company?s high exposure to low profit segments, the analysts add. The company also does not have a business plan to ensure high operating margins, BWS Financial says.
