NEW YORK, January 24 (newratings.com) - Analyst Mark J Rowen of Prudential Financial reiterates his "neutral weight" rating on eBay Inc (EBAY). The target price is set to $40.

In a research note published yesterday, the analyst mentions that the company witnessed 21.7%, 26.6% and 49.8% y/y listings growth on its US, German and UK sites, respectively, in the week ended January 20. Listings for the vehicles and parts categories on eBay Motors increased 19.7% and 22.8%, respectively, during the week, the analyst says. The company?s global listings have increased by approximately 30.4% QTD, as compared to the full quarter estimate of 30%, Prudential Financial adds.
