NEW YORK, February 27 (newratings.com) - Analyst Mark J Rowen of Prudential Financial maintains his "neutral weight" rating on eBay Inc (EBAY). The target price is set to $40.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that sellers have listed 21 million items in the company's core US market during the most recent week ended February 24, representing 40.8% y/y growth. Listings on eBay's German site have increased approximately 29.5% y/y quarter-to-date, the analyst says. Listings on the company's UK site rose 21.7% y/y last week, Prudential Financial adds.
