NEW YORK, April 3 (newratings.com) - Analyst Mark J Rowen of Prudential Financial maintains his "neutral weight" rating on eBay Inc (EBAY). The target price is set to $40.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that listings on the company?s core US site are likely to have risen by 27.5% in the week ended March 31. Listings on eBay Germany and eBay UK are estimated to have grown by 60.4% and 52.5%, respectively, last week, the analyst adds. The company?s global listings are expected to have risen by 33.6% in 1Q06, as compared to the estimate of 30.0%, according to Prudential Financial.
