NEW YORK, June 19 (newratings.com) - Analyst Mark J Rowen of Prudential Financial maintains his "overweight" rating on eBay Inc (EBAY). The target price is set to $40.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that listings at the company's US, Germany and the UK sites have increased by 25.8%, 54.4% and 59.6% y/y, respectively, during the most recent week ended June 16. According to the analyst, vehicle and parts listings at the eBay Motors' site rose 21.1% and 64.7%, respectively, during the recent week. The company's quarter-to-date global listings have grown by 32.2%, as compared to the estimate of 28.0% for the full quarter, Prudential Financial adds.
