NEW YORK, June 27 (newratings.com) - Analyst Mark J Rowen of Prudential Financial maintains his "overweight" rating on eBay Inc (EBAY). The target price is set to $40.

In a research note published yesterday the analyst mentions that the listings on the company's core US site in the week ended June 23 are expected to have increased by 31.6% y/y, with quarter-to-date listings rising by 21.6%. The listings on eBay Germany and eBay UK during the most recent week are expected to have risen by 54.2% y/y and 29.1% y/y, respectively, the analyst adds.
