NEW YORK, July 31 (newratings.com) - Analyst Mark J Rowen of Prudential Financial maintains his "overweight" rating on eBay Inc (EBAY). The target price is set to $40.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that listings at the company's core US, Germany and UK sites have risen by 25.3%, 22.9% and 30.9% y/y, respectively, during the week ended July 28. eBay witnessed a 3.3% and 58.8% y/y increase in listings in the vehicles and parts categories, respectively, on its eBay Motors site during the period, the analyst says.
