NEW YORK, August 29 (newratings.com) - Analyst Mark J Rowen of Prudential Financial maintains his "overweight" rating on eBay Inc (EBAY). The target price is set to $40.

In a research note published yesterday, the analyst mentions that the company has reported a 30.2% y/y rise in the items listed on its core US site in its most recent week. The listings on eBay Germany and eBay UK climbed 63.7% and 38.4%, y/y, respectively, the analyst says. The company?s global listings have risen 41.5% so far this quarter, ahead of the estimates, Prudential Financial adds.
