NEW YORK, September 18 (newratings.com) - Analyst Mark J Rowen of Prudential Financial maintains his "overweight" rating on eBay Inc (EBAY). The target price is set to $40.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the company?s listing update for the week ended September15 points towards listings growth of 8.3% y/y, 9.3% y/y and 17.7% y/y on eBay?s US, Germany and UK sites, respectively. According to the analyst, eBay?s global listings have risen 36% quarter-to-date, above the estimate of 32% for the quarter.
