NEW YORK, December 11 (newratings.com) - Analyst Mark J Rowen of Prudential Financial maintains his "overweight" rating on eBay Inc (EBAY). The target price is set to $40.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that listings at the company's US, Germany and UK sites rose 7.5%, 18.3% and 48.6% y/y, respectively, in the week ended December 8. eBay achieved 36.1% and 84.1% listings growth under the vehicles and parts categories, respectively, in the week, the analyst says.
