NEW YORK, December 27 (newratings.com) - Analyst Mark J Rowen of Prudential Financial maintains his "overweight" rating on eBay Inc (EBAY). The target price is set to $40.

In a research note published yesterday, the analyst mentions that the listings on eBay?s US, UK and Germany sites have increased by 8.6%, 23.9% and 3.7%, respectively, in the week ended December 22. The eBay Motors site achieved 35.3% and 51.7% growth in the listings for the vehicles and parts categories, respectively, during the period, the analyst says. The US, UK and German sites achieved 11.8%, 22.9% and 13.1% y/y quarter-to-date increases in total listings, respectively, Prudential Financial adds.
