NEW YORK, March 19 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Stifel Nicolaus & Company maintain their "buy" rating on eBay Inc (EBAY).

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that while the company is expected to report its 1Q07 revenues in-line with the estimates, there is upside potential to the EPS for the quarter. According to the analysts, eBay continues to be overcapitalized and might continue to either act on its pending stock buyback programme or commence a structured recapitalization going forward.
