eBay "buy," estimates raised

NEW YORK, April 19 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Stifel Nicolaus & Company maintain their "buy" rating on eBay Inc (EBAY), while raising their estimates for the company. The target price is set to $37.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company has reported its 1Q revenues and cash EPS ahead of the estimates. eBay?s gross merchandise value, excluding the impact of currency effects, grew by 10% in the quarter, the analysts say. The EPS estimates for 2007 and 2008 have been raised from $1.27 to $1.34 and from $1.46 to $1.53, respectively.
