NEW YORK, July 2 (newratings.com) - Analyst Brian Fitzgerald of Banc of America Securities reiterates his "buy" rating on eBay Inc (EBAY). The target price is set to $43.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that eBay?s prospects are bright, with the company expected to achieve incremental acceleration in listings growth, increase in ASPs and conversion rates on account of a substantial rise in the Apple iPhone listings on the eBay US site. A robust beginning for eBay listings in July might lead to better-than-anticipated 3Q guidance, the analyst says. Additionally, on account of the international iPhone listings, the company might generate longer-term growth, Banc of America Securities adds.
